a Senior Seminar at Tembusu College

Climate change is a controversial ecological, scientific and political problem generally left to experts. However, the unprecedented, real life challenges attributed to climate change concern both the natural world and the human family.

In the course “Climate Change” students will therefore engage the topic not as specialists, but as generalists with special emphasis on science and technology. The course is both a personal and a scholarly effort.

In the end, students are encouraged to formulate intriguing questions on climate change, take intellectual risks, explore their curiosity about social and natural worlds, and challenge their assumptions.
